Now is the time to prepare for the next season!

The harvest is in – the grain is in the bins, the equipment is back in the yard, and you and your team are ready to take a well-deserved break.

We would like to point out that now is the time when a few simple steps can make the start of the next season much easier and more peaceful.

A post-harvest inspection allows you to solve any problems while they are still “fresh”. There is no better time to fix them than right after you encounter them. If the combine has been idle for two or three months, you may no longer remember those minor issues that caused discomfort during the harvest.

For example, if there was a problem with the chopper knives being stuck, it is worth solving it now. When the equipment is already in storage, small details are easily overlooked – and next year it can be an unpleasant surprise again.

Of course, during the inspection, attention is paid to larger components – bearings, drive chains. But often it is the little things that made the harvest a little more stressful. That is why we recommend giving your equipment a little more time after the season ends — on your own or with service specialists.

A preventive inspection allows you to calmly eliminate all issues before the start of the new season, without rushing and “hot” repairs. Service specialists work with equipment every day and can notice things that sometimes slip out of sight. A more detailed inspection today is confidence in stable operation tomorrow.

We would like to emphasize the cleanliness of the equipment separately. Preparing the combine for the next harvest will be much easier if you keep it clean. The longer plant residues remain on the machine, the more difficult it is to remove them. Before storing the combine, it is worth thoroughly cleaning it.

Debris that accumulates on bearings, hinges or in places where moisture is retained can cause corrosion and reduce the resource of components. Cleanliness is not only about the appearance, but also the durability of the equipment.

Also, do not forget about the data collected during the season. They will become the basis for decision-making in 2026. Before you finally put the combine into storage, make sure that all information is saved and has backup copies. It is convenient to use digital solutions, in particular FieldOps, as well as additionally store data on external media or in the cloud.

LLC "TK" Agroalliance" is always ready to support you in matters of service, preventive inspection and preparation of equipment for the new season.
