Updated Case IH Puma tractor models enhance operator experience and productivity.

2025 Tractors Get Extended Service Intervals, Updated Styling
Case IH is rolling out updates to its Puma ® Series tractors — the 185, 200, 220 and 240 models — to improve efficiency, comfort and convenience. From a redesigned hood with a new style to extended service intervals and improved handling, new features and enhancements are designed to enhance the operator experience and increase productivity.
“Growers need more time to tackle tough jobs on their farms, and this 2025 tractor lineup is designed to help deliver more uptime, more efficiency and more comfort to make long days shorter,” said Jay Cadle, Case IH Maxxum ® , Puma and Optum ® tractor marketing manager. “The Puma Series tractors are the right size and power to handle a wide range of jobs. Our engineers have used customer feedback to deliver an improved operator experience and maximize productivity.”
Updates to the 2025 Puma tractor series include:
- Increased service intervals for maximum efficiency and uptime
- Redesigned hood with improved LED lighting to provide uniform illumination of the work area, helping the operator to work safely during off-peak hours
- Improved controllability for optional CVXDrive™ continuously variable transmission
- In-cab refrigerator function for increased comfort
- Redesigned optional front hitch
- Low-slung windshield wiper for maximum visibility in all conditions
- Extended service intervals, efficient power
Helping producers achieve more output with less fuel, Case IH Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) technology improves power, engine responsiveness, fuel economy and durability while reducing emissions. Thanks to the latest developments, the 2025 Puma 185, 200, 220 and 240 models achieve extended service intervals without loss of performance: 750 hours for engine oil and 1,500 hours for transmission fluid (the service intervals listed are for EU countries).
“The extended service intervals will not only save manufacturers time, but also help reduce maintenance costs,” said Kaedl. “With SCR technology, we can maximize power with better fuel economy.”
Improved controllability with CVXDrive
The CVXDrive continuously variable transmission available on the Puma tractor series provides intuitive control and smooth, uninterrupted power transfer in a variety of conditions without interruption of torque. By selecting a target speed, the transmission automatically adjusts to provide the desired speed according to the load conditions. Equipped with CVXDrive, the updated Puma 185, 200, 220 and 240 models include several driveability improvements, including:
- More settings to adapt the transmission behavior to any job
- Smoother acceleration, deceleration and shuttle behavior
- Thinner drive pedal and MultiController sensitivity
- Cruise control pedal overlay
- Low-speed safety lock and MultiController position detection
The updated Puma 185, 200, 220 and 240 models are available to order now. The 2025 model Puma 150 and 165 tractors, with updates including extended service intervals and a refreshed design, will be available in March 2026.
